  • In case of an emergency, our staff are trained in Paediatric First aid and are well equipped to deal with an unwell child or more serious incident. If an incident occurs, inform the staff as quickly as possible so we can get you the best care possible.

  • OPEN PLAYS

    Cancellations:

    Customers wishing to cancel their play session must give at least 48 hours notice for a full refund. In this event a refund will be paid in full. Please note that refunds will take 5-10 days to be issued.

    If you cancel less than 48 hours before the play session you will not receive any refund. However, in this scenario we do offer the option of rescheduling your booking to anytime within the next 2 weeks and there will be an additional charge of £6.

    No refunds or compensation will be payable by Clara’s Corner in the event that any participant is not permitted to, refused permission or decides not to, undertake or complete the session.

    Rescheduling: You may reschedule your booking 48 hours before the play session by emailing hello@clarascorner.co. If you want to reschedule less than 48 hours before the play session there will be an additional charge of £6.

    GROUP BOOKINGS

    Claras Corner will refund any group bookings cancelled 14 days before, any group bookings cancelled with less than 14 days notice before the event will not receive a refund- this is the case for non-exclusive parties.

    EXCLUSIVE HIRE BIRTHDAY PARTIES

    6 weeks notice if cancelling for a full refund. If a party is cancelled less than 6 weeks notice then the hire fee is non-refundable however we will do our best to move the date for you as long as notified over 2 weeks notice before the original party date. Where possible, we will endeavour to move your party time, subject to availability.

  • Yes, we are wheelchair accessible - we just need notice. If you need assistance please find a member of staff or notify in advance if you would like to chat about how we help.

  • Yes, we have ample parking to the right of the entrance as you drive in. Please enter the cafe and register your car details on the iPad. This will provide you with 3 hours of complimentary parking for your visit.

  • Yes, you are asked to stay in the soft play with your child to ensure that they are happy, safe and having a brilliant time. We ask that at least one adult is present with the child at all times for the duration of their session in the soft play. We will be happy to help you order drinks and even deliver them so you can relax and stay with your little one.

  • By buying a ticket, whether through the website or in person you are agreeing to the T&Cs on the website. We have these to ensure the safety of everyone at Clara’s Corner and to ensure that everyone is happy and safe.

  • Yes, we have very good free WIFI and handy charging stations within Clara’s Corner. Our staff are on hand and happy to help if you need help.

  • We do not provide lockers, however we have perfectly sized cubby holes within our benched seating to store your belongings close by whilst your child plays. Grab a seat and use the cubby underneath for free.

  • No, we do not allow outside food as we have allergen rules we abide to. We have a spectacular café catering for both children and adults. Our Children’s menu changes seasonally and you can even order your food to be ready for hungry tummies at the end of soft play!

  • We understand that sometimes things can come up and you may end up being a little late to your session so if you arrive past the start of your session and want to still go in and play, that is absolutely fine. However, your session will still end at the time that it would have originally ended. This is because we have to sanitise and prepare the soft play for the next session very soon after.

  • If you have prebooked your session at Clara’s Corner you can simply park and follow the signs to Claras Corner. If you have not prebooked please register your car on our Ipad in the café and then make your way to Clara’s Corner ready for the start of your times session. When your session starts the doors to Clara’s Corner will open and you be welcomed and checked in by our brilliant Team Leader. We have a covered Buggy Park right beside Clara’s Corner.

  • We do always recommend that you book online to secure your place at Clara’s Corner. If you have not had a chance to prebook we will show you a link to our website to enable you to book and pay online at the time if we have spaces left. We allow up to 30 children per session to ensure children have the best experience in Clara’s Corner. We are cashless and therefore we only accept the bookings and payments to be made through our website.

  • Sometimes things go walk-about. If you feel that you are missing one of your belongings and may have been left it behind at Clara’s corner, please (contact number) or email hello@clarascorner.co and we will do what we can to help you in your search. We record any lost property at the end of each and every session.

  • Yes, we ask and recommend that you book in advance of your session as places in the soft play sessions can get filled up very quickly. If you arrive on the day there are no guarantees that you will be able to secure a place, especially on the weekends when Clara’s Corner could be very busy. To avoid disappointment we ask you to book in advance.

  • No, we are completely cashless. If you would like to book and pay, it must be done through our Clara’s Corner website.

  • Everyone who enters our play centre takes a space and we want to ensure that Clara’s Corner has enough room for everyone to have the best experience. We do not believe in over crowded soft play and think it is important for both adults and children to get the most out of their visit.

  • Just as adults do, babies also take a space out of our capacity. We provide a number of facilities and services catering to babes in arms, including baby changing facilities, nappies, wipes and nappy bags for the odd occasion that you find yourself a little short. Charging for babies under the age of 6 months contributes to restocking the baby products for those that might need them and continues to ensure Clara’s Corner never feels over crowded.

    To ensure Clara’s Corner never feels over crowded we count everyone who enters-big and small. This includes siblings or helpers who may not want to play.

  • Yes, we have a lovely, spacious buggy park, just outside Clara’s corner. It is even covered so that if it rains, your belongings are protected.

    Baby car seats are welcome to be detached and brought inside Clara's Corner. If you need help at the start or end of your session please ask a member of staff

  • Scooters are a great way for your kids to get around, however we do not allow scooters In Clara’s Corner or the main cafe seating areas. This is because we also have a busy café and hot drinks and scooters could be dangerous. We must also consider other guests who may not be there for the soft play. All bikes and scooters must be placed in the buggy park, where they will be kept safe and dry.

  • Please bring any personal items you may need for your child or baby such as nappies, wipes and nappy sacks. Food and drink for children from 8 months can be purchased at the café. We offer seasonal organic options and focus on healthy nutritious food.

  • Yes, the wonderful ‘Walled Garden’ Café provides a range of hot and cold drinks and food, and with the introduction of our fabulous new children’s menu, there is something for everyone.

  • Feedback can be passed on through any member of staff at Clara’s corner, via the email address hello@clarascorner.co or on our website.

  • Please ensure your child is wearing comfortable clothing that they can easily move around in. We recommend long sleeved tops and socks must be worn by both adults and children.

  • The age limit at Clara’s Corner is 7 years old, and 2 years old for Crawler sessions. You might be permitted to bring a child older than 7 but this is assessed on a case basis. Please email us.

  • Registration forms are for us to have access to details in the event of an emergency.

  • Yes, each online booking allows you to add another adult to the booking if you wish. On the door adults will only be allowed if the session isn’t sold out due to capacity limits. Thank you for understanding.

  • Our brilliant team at Clara’s corner are there to ensure the smooth running of the soft play however it is always the accompanying adult who has responsibility for a child and children must never be left unsupervised in Clara’s Corner. Should there be any incidents such as bumped heads or accidents, please inform a member immediately.

  • Yes, we implement a behaviour policy for the safety, happiness and wellbeing of the children using Clara’s Corner. We promote good manners for use by both children and adults and like to set great examples to our younger guests. We will step in if we see children playing in a way that is harmful to another child. We ask supervising adults to respect our behaviour policy. We do not believe in raising our voices to be heard and our specially trained staff will always promote sharing, kindness and respect. We do not allow children to walk around holding drinks or baby cups and will ask that they are seated.

  • Please come and share your concerns with our staff. We are always here to listen to your concerns and resolve any problems you have in a respectful professional manner.

  • We recommend wearing comfy clothes, anything that will keep your child comfortable and happy when they’re running around and having fun. We have a ‘no outside shoe’s policy so once you get there, as soon as the shoes are off, they are free to play.

  • Outside food brings the risk of allergies that we cannot control, we want every child to be safe and so therefore we monitor allergy contamination very carefully.

  • Yes, we provide session for children with Special Educational Needs. To find out more or ask any other questions you may have, please email hello@clarascorner.co.

  • It is lovely to capture the memories that children make as they grow and play so we do allow photography in the soft play area. However, we ask that it is limited to only taking pictures and videos of your own child.

  • Sadly we cannot allow face painted children into Clara’s Corner due to cleanliness.

  • At Clara’s Corner we do prioritise the children and babies and sadly too many adults can make it unenjoyable for the kids. Therefore it is limited to 2 adults per booking. We appreciate that sometimes in special circumstances you are really keen for an extra adult and in this case may be able to on the day buy a walk in adult ticket which is £5 (purposefully expensive so that this isn’t the norm) if the session is not fully booked. We appreciate your co-operation on this & there is plenty of lovely seating in the cafe for extra adults to enjoy a cup of tea while they wait.
